MARCH BREAK CAMP

March 11-15

Welcome to the next edition of our Folk Story Series - a collection of camps where students explore folktales from around the world, and create meaningful art through the lens of storytelling. Join us this March for an enchanting camp that invites children to embark on a creative journey inspired by a delightful tale. In this story based on the Hans Christian Andersen classic, a proud apple blossom, a humble dandelion, and a wise sunbeam come to life. As we delve into this narrative, children will discover the significance of inner beauty and the value of humility.

Through art projects that celebrate the tale's themes, kids will express their interpretations using various mediums such as painting, drawing, and sculpting. Guided by experienced instructors, they'll embrace the message of the story—finding beauty and worth in the unexpected. Just as the sunbeam in the story kissed both the proud apple blossom and the humble dandelion, children will explore the notion of beauty from different perspectives. Join us for a week of artistic expression, storytelling, and the wonderful message of finding beauty in simplicity. Let's make art, discover the magic of storytelling, and embrace the beauty of both the seen and unseen!
