TERMS & CONDITIONS

PAYMENTS

  1. We accept payment in the form of cash, postdated cheques, debit, or credit.

  2. For our camps, we require upfront payment or payment within the same week that the invoice has been sent.

  3. For our after-school program, payment within the first two weeks of classes registered. Failure to do so will result in automatic cancellation of classes until payment is fulfilled.

  4. Cheques should be made payable to CCSA. All payments are subject to 13% HST.

  5. Our after-school program can be paid in one instalment, three instalments, or six instalments only. For instalment payments, we require your credit card number. There are no instalment payment options for our camps.

  6. Non-sufficient funds (NFS) cheques are subject to a $25.00 penalty fee.

CANCELLATION

  1. The CCSA requires students to provide a written note sent to our email (info@ccsa.art) with a minimum of one month notice prior to the intended last day of the student in the program. 

  2. In case of cancellation, the CCSA will not offer refunds. However, we can give credit to the account if a cancellation occurs. Partial refunds for missed classes or early removal from the program are not available.

  3. Credit to the account can be applied to other CCSA programming such as camps or payment for next term.


MISSED CLASSES

  1. We encourage students to attend on the same day and time as their scheduled classes on an ongoing basis.

  2. The CCSA requires students to provide a written note to our email (info@ccsa.art) if they will miss a class. At least 48 hours of notice must be made to be able to makeup a missed class. 

  3. If a student has missed a class, it is the responsibility of the parent/guardian to schedule a makeup class within the same month the student has missed the class. Booking a makeup class must be made via email.

  4. Once a confirmed makeup class has been made, we expect you to attend that class time. Any cancelled or booked makeup classes will not be rescheduled.

  5. We will only give one makeup class per month, according to the class schedule or class availability.

  6. Missed classes cannot be scheduled after the student has left the program.

  7. All makeups classes expire on June 15th and cannot be carried over to the summer schedule and the next year. 

  8. We do not give credits or refunds for missed classes.

  9. Classes that are cancelled by the CCSA (i.e. if an instructor is not available) will be available for a makeup class within one month of the cancelled class.

COPY RIGHTS AND PRIVACY

  1. CCSA reserves the right to use artwork produced by students for internal exhibitions and events at CCSA and also promotional and marketing purposes.

  2. CCSA reserves the right to use artwork produced by students in online platforms for artistic and educational purposes.

  3. CCSA is allowed to use students’ photos for digital marketing and also online promotional activities.

  4. CCSA is committed not to reproduce students’ artworks.

  5. Our online classes will not be recorded without our students’ permission.

  6. CCSA is highly committed to protect its students and their families taking into account the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA).
