Cartooning

The Cartooning class at Yorkview School introduces students to the art of visual storytelling through drawing and narrative development. Students learn how to turn ideas into cartoons by creating characters, building scenes, and organizing stories with a clear beginning, middle, and end. Through guided, hands-on activities, the class strengthens creative thinking, communication, and artistic skills while helping students understand how images and stories work together to express ideas. The skills developed in this class support future interests in creative writing, animation, filmmaking, and visual communication.
