FILMMAKING CLASSES

Our filmmaking classes at CCSA are characterized by excitement and creativity! We have creative approach in the artistic development of our students in filmmaking and show them how they can become phenomenal film makers in case they use unique techniques. Students can learn specific lessons about collaborative filmmaking process. For each film production, students will write a short script, learn the fundamentals of set and sound design, make-up and costuming, etc. Moreover, they are allowed to both direct and act in class productions, as each student will make their five-minute film in team collaboration with the help of instructors and fellow students. In addition, students get familiar with the key concepts in filmmaking, such as cinematography, genre, script development, producing, directing, post-production, etc. Our classes usually conclude with a small viewing party for the presentation of the finished film work. When students have completed their films, instructors will help students with the application process for film festivals that accept work by young filmmakers.
