ANIMATION CLASSES
Have you ever thought of creating animation? We are here to equip you with wonderful techniques in our animation classes using which can bring your creations to life. Each animation class will begin with the viewing of famous short animations, from European art-house to films by the NFB. Our students will learn about storytelling and the detailed and labor-intensive craft that is required to make a successful animation. Our animation classes will also teach students how to make a soundtrack for their animation that includes music and the recording of dialogue. We do respect our students’ styles in developing animation and also show them that any concept they are willing to develop can be made perfect in different ways. In case our teen students are interested to become professional animation developers in the future, we develop their competencies through our mentorship program.
Digital Animation
Ages 9-12
This Digital Animation class provides students with the opportunity to make a 5-minute stop motion film. Under the guidance of a highly skilled and professionally trained instructor, students will learn material and prop selection, storyboarding and the basics of assembling the film. Students will also create a soundtrack for their film using music and recorded dialogue. Key concepts and techniques such as design, lighting, modelling, surfacing, visual effects, life drawing and pre-visualization will be discussed. The instructor will provide students with critical and valuable feedback throughout the filmmaking process.
Digital Animation
Ages 13-17
This exciting Digital Animation class provides our students with the opportunity to create a 5-minute short film. Our skilled instructor will teach students the fundamentals to stop motion animation, including storyboarding, material selection, and stop-motion movement techniques and procedures. Students will also create a soundtrack for their film using music and recorded dialogue. Key concepts and techniques such as design, lighting, modelling, surfacing, visual effects, life drawing and pre-visualization will be discussed. The instructor will provide students with critical and valuable feedback throughout the filmmaking process.
2D Animation
Ages 9-12
This excellent 2D Animation class, designed and taught by industry professionals, is for passionate students interested in exploring the world of 2D creation. Students will bring their characters to life while learning drawing, illustration and graphic design software. Under the guidance and advice of the instructor, students will produce and assemble their 2D animated shorts. This class promotes critical thinking and creative solutions to problem-solving.

This 2D Animation class is for our teen students interested in furthering their knowledge and passion for the animated arts. Students will bring their characters to life while learning from a highly skilled and professionally trained instructor. Key concepts will be taught, including drawing, illustration and graphic design software techniques. Under the guidance and advice of the instructor, students will produce and assemble their 2D animated short films. This class promotes critical thinking and creative solutions to problem-solving.
Digital Art
Ages 9-12
This Digital Art class teaches students the fundamentals of Digital Art, showing them how to turn a painting or drawing into a 2D or 3D digital artwork. Under the guidance of a highly skilled and professionally trained instructor, students will learn digital drawing, painting, photo development, design and art software and digital composition and style. Students will receive regular feedback and be encouraged to go at their own pace to tackle new ideas and concepts.
Digital Art
Ages 13-17
This exciting Digital Art class is for our teen students interested in exploring their passion and interest in 2D or 3D digital art. No previous experience is required, and students are encouraged to work at their own pace as they learn digital drawing, painting, photo development, design and art software and digital composition and style. Our highly skilled and professionally trained instructors will encourage students to think outside of the box as they tackle new ideas and concepts.
Stop Motion Animation
Ages 6-8
This class is for young animators looking to get a head start on their animation education! For ages 6-8, this class acts as an optional preparatory class for our Digital Arts & Animation classes available for ages 9+
Under the guidance of an instructor, students in this Stop Motion Animation class will make a 3-minute stop motion animated short, primarily working with iMovie. Learning from a highly skilled and professionally trained instructor, students will learn the art of storytelling and the fundamentals of stop motion animation, such as storyboarding and prop and material selection.
Students will also create a soundtrack for their film, using music and recorded dialogue. The instructor will provide critical feedback throughout, helping the student understand the medium further.
Digital Animation
Age : 11-17
Digital art class is a great opportunity for the kids to use their imagination and generate ideas by transforming their drawing and paintings to 2D or 3D digital artworks. No previous knowledge is required, and they get familiar with digital drawing, digital painting, digital photo development, digital design, digital art software, digital composition and styles. The instructors of the class have solid academic and professional background in digital art, and the pace of the class is based on the students’ abilities and motivation. The students develop digital art projects in this class and receive regular feedback from the instructors.
