PA Day Camp 2019/2020
fee: $90 + HST
The CCSA offers one-day camp for children on all TDSB PA Days.
PA Day Camp run 9:00 am to 3:30 pm with before and after-care available upon request from 8:00am to 9:00 am and 3:30 pm to 5:00pm. All materials are included and the team of CCSA will provide healthy snacks for everyone. Every student is asked to bring their own school-safe lunch and water to class.

SUSTAINABLE costume making
Something wicked this way comes… Halloween is fast approaching, and let’s prepare for a spooky celebration. Our students will design and make their own Halloween costume during this PA Day Camp. Let it be a Dracula masquerade or a fairy dress, everyone will go home with their own unique wearable art.
If I was a bird: november 15th
painting and drawing
Imagine looking at the horizon during this colourful season of autumn as you fly across its landscape. With fall foliage at its height, we will learn about the Group of Seven and their paintings and chalk drawings to create our own expressive colourful landscape seen from the bird’s eye. Painting on Canvas and experimenting with chalk drawings, we will be the next landscape painters of Canada!
Living in the polar bear land: December 6th
How did the natives keep warm during these cold winters? We will be learning about the life of aboriginals and their igloo. How they make it and why -this inquiry will lead us to make our igloo to keep us safe and sound.
SKIING ON THE PURPLE MOUNTAIN: January 17
How would you like to be skiing downhill through the trees of purple leaves as purple snows flurries around you? Whether or not you ski in real life does not matter! Our students will use their imagination to create a short animation film to take home. From character creation to storyboarding, get ready for some frosty fun!
Mermaids & pirates: February 14th
Love is in the air! But does your character feel it too? In this day camp, make up your own story of what happened when a mermaid and a pirate come to meet. We'll bring it to life by making puppets and acting out our story on camera. Every student will go home with their own puppets and a video of their story.
sun-flakes in my garden: june 5th
Spring has sprung and the city has come back to life! We will learn about our early blossoms and plants as well as animals awaken from their hibernation to incorporate into our installation art work. Out students will explore the natural environment by creating their own.
