If I was a bird: november 15th
painting and drawing
Imagine looking at the horizon during this colourful season of autumn as you fly across its landscape. With fall foliage at its height, we will learn about the Group of Seven and their paintings and chalk drawings to create our own expressive colourful landscape seen from the bird’s eye. Painting on Canvas and experimenting with chalk drawings, we will be the next landscape painters of Canada!

How did the natives keep warm during these cold winters? We will be learning about the life of aboriginals and their igloo. How they make it and why -this inquiry will lead us to make our igloo to keep us safe and sound.
SKIING ON THE PURPLE MOUNTAIN: January 17
How would you like to be skiing downhill through the trees of purple leaves as purple snows flurries around you? Whether or not you ski in real life does not matter! Our students will use their imagination to create a short animation film to take home. From character creation to storyboarding, get ready for some frosty fun!
Mermaids & pirates: February 14th
Love is in the air! But does your character feel it too? In this day camp, make up your own story of what happened when a mermaid and a pirate come to meet.
