The CCSA features Toronto’s only art gallery dedicated to showing artworks by children. Throughout the year, CCSA’s Children’s Art Gallery invites submissions from kids and their art instructors.

We believe that providing children with opportunities to exhibit artworks creates a more meaningful experience for them when they make art. Showing their work in the public context of an art gallery instills a sense of professional pride in children and helps to build their self-esteem. The CCSA hosts a yearly painting competition for children and also presents biannual exhibitions of kids’ work chosen by professional curators. To engage the broader public in these events, the CCSA will organize local schools to come visit the exhibitions and enjoy planned programs of related activities. Art instructors are always welcome to submit student work.
